Bob’s Shed. The original Acrylic on paper is 19 x 27 and it belongs to my husband, Bob.
Bob built the shed behind our house and helped me plant a long garden beside the driveway. I started painting the shed in the early spring. The only thing up in the garden was a sea of Irises and some very optimistic daffodils. As it took a good part of the summer to finish the painting, every time more flowers came up, I added them to the painting. By the end of the summer the actual garden was a bit spotty, but my painting for Bob was in full bloom. Of course we all know that these flowers are not all in bloom at the same time. But wouldn’t it be nice?
