I seem to paint flowers in the dead of winter and snow scenes in the fall or summer. I don’t know why. Perhaps it is a longing. Anyway, I was visiting a friend in her sun-filled kitchen. The light was beaming through and the glass vase seemed to reflect that light. I snapped a photo and took it home to the studio. This is the result/
