Sunflowers

Sunflowers - Original was acrylic on canvas and is in a private collection in Maine.

Every now and then I like to join a group of artists to paint together. It was a cold winter day - no snow - just cold and grey. One of the artists had been to the florist and purchased a bouquet of sunflowers. There were other flower and plant options in the room, but the sunflowers brightened my day. This is the result of that lovely winter afternoon with a group of very supportive artists.
