Marcia lives on Cousins Island about 15 miles north of Portland, Maine.  The island is only about a mile long.  Midway down the island you can

take a left hand turn down the hill and to the causeway that crosses over to Little John Island.  Where ever you walk you are surrounded by the sea with breath taking views to other island in Casco Bay.  On one of her favorite walks on the North side of the island something very special abounds by the end of July.  One of the houses has a garden facing the sea with a full brigade of dusty pink wild flowers.  Breathe.  She knows she is so lucky to live on an island in Maine.
